Josso Thomas, Jr.

I started working for my father, J.G. Thomas, Sr. at the age of 13. He taught me framing, installing Sheetrock, old-fashioned plastering using lathe and Structurelite, special cuts for installing mouldings, as well as coping. He also taught me to be patient when working with wood. Although he has passed away, his teaching will serve me for the rest of my life, and I will be forever grateful.

I now have created my own style of designing and making built-in furniture. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands, and the two things I enjoy doing most (besides spending time with my three children) is C&C (carpentry and cooking). Nothing is more satisfying than creating things, and watching them develop into something you enjoy looking at ... or eating!
